The Malta International Airport is a welcome site to many weary travellers where to spend some time in the newly redesigned La Valette Lounge, the airport's VIP area recently renovated.
The lounge is one of only 16 airport lounges in the world to receive the prestigious Highly Commended rating in the Priority Pass Lounge of the Year Awards 2017, coming out on top out of over 1,000 VIP lounges worldwide. A major contributor to this honor is the suspended ceiling realized with Serge Ferrari Soltis FT 381, the flexible composite membrane, lightweight and recyclable for facade covers and sun screens. The installation was designed and built by an Italian company, Marcolin Covering.
